Hi everybody just a little history of how I got to where I am today.I started to learn the guitar 20 years ago at the age of 18 like most people I started with a book and a electric guitar i bought from argos with a practise amp the size of a house.

After several failed attempts I decided on some lessons with a teacher and finally started to make headway I gradually grew in confidence and over the space of 5 years made lots of progress. At that time I had a normal nine to five job but felt I was,nt getting the satisfaction I wanted so thoughts started to creep in as to starting my own teaching school.

I started Fast Forward Guitar Studio in 1998 working out of a first floor room just of the Bristol Road in Gloucester although it was a steep learning curve I knew i,d found what I wanted to do in life working with people and helping them to become better guitar players. Over time I would find better ways to pass on the knowledge I had learnt as well as extra fun elements such as student recordings where they could have C.D,s of songs they would play and end of year Live Shows where a student could have the opportunity to play live to there families and friends. As well as teaching I fell into playing with a local band called Mad Ferrett and have had loads of fun preforming with them in pubs and venues in the local area.

At the start of 2011 I had the opportunity to relocate to a brand new development in Quedgeley which has helped raise the studio to another level with good facilities and a nice relaxed enviroment it has completed the dream I had when I first started.

Now I look forward to the next 20 years im sure they will be just as exciting.

Hope to see you all soon                                                                                                      Chris.
